Class Description
Kundalini Yoga is a fundamental practice of yoga working directly with the body’s innate energies. Blending movement and breath alongside mudras and mantras, Kundalini yoga is a system of evoking energy inside the individual in order to developing mind-body awareness. With over 15 years experience in Kundalini Yoga, Raj guides you through a powerful practice allowing you to feel light and elevated and creating enough strength and grounding in the sessions that leave you with a calm euphoria. Raj emphasizes and focuses on breathing, through which space is created for all participants to cultivate a relationship with body and mind through breath. Awareness will be brought into the body allowing for an improvement of cognitive functions, resulting in a reduction of anxiety and stress, and bringing with it a sense of peace. Practicing Kundalini Yoga with Raj brings balance towards your mind, body, emotions, and spirit. He approaches all his classes with a liberal dose of humor alongside some gems of wisdom.
